Thank You for Joining Us at TERRASZA BCN 2024!

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in and contributed to the success of TERRASZA BCN 2024 during the Barcelona Design Week! Your presence, enthusiasm, and engagement made this event truly special.

From October 17 to 20, on the magnificent FX Barcelona Film School terrace in Poble Nou we showcased a stunning array of brands and collections for outdoor spaces. We are grateful to our esteemed exhibitors Andreu World, Artemide, Bover, Cosentino, Davide Groppi, DesignOX, Ezpeleta, iSiMar, Lobster’s Day, Musola for presenting their incredible designs and craftsmanship. Your contributions helped create an inspiring atmosphere that celebrated outdoor living and design.

We would like to highlight the MARE NOSTRUM ART DESIGN exhibition, from an idea of our founder and CEO Guendalina Perelli, curated by Mariona Rubio Sabatés with the support of A-FAD. This exhibition celebrated the greatness of Craftsmanship and Design Art, emphasizing its connection to the Mediterranean—a lifestyle ideal and ethical model, representing a timeless metaphor for happiness. A heartfelt thank you to the over 50 artists and designers, from emerging talents to established figures, with the support of the most relevant functional art galleries in the Spanish scene (Bombon Projects, Il·lacions, Llop Madrid, Pott Gallery, Vasto Gallery), who showcased their works, safeguarding and renewing the Mediterranean legacy through their artistry. This collection provided a rich source of inspiration for professionals undertaking terrace and outdoor space projects.

We also appreciate your support for our project ¡aiguame! by TERRASZA reflecting the theme of water: Leave Plastics to Arts, the exhibition by artist Xavi Muñoz, which introduced the circuit of bars promoting the refilling of water bottles. The project not only promotes a change in consumption habits but also fosters a more creative and environmentally conscious vision, in line with the theme 'Design for Human Future' of Barcelona Design Week 2024, which celebrated its 19th edition from October 16 to 26, with a special focus on water.

We also want to express our gratitude to all the speakers and participants in our TERRASZA TALKS:
  • Pablo López, for his insightful talk on "Architectural Visualization and Virtual Reality."
  • Joana Bover, Alex Fernández Camps, and Gonzalo Milá, who engaged in a captivating conversation about "Light Objects for Outdoor."
  • Jorge Perea and Adrià Orriols, who explored "Out-the-door: Exterior Architecture."
  • Federico Pompignoli, who introduced the innovative LS24-Lounge system for the Prada Foundation rooftop terrace.
  • Javier Peña and Juan Cabello Arribas, who discussed the important topic of "Ecologies Around Public Space."
A special mention to iF Design for their support and commitment during the TERRASZA BCN 2024 party. Just like in last edition in Milan, iF Design supported us from the beginning, allowing us to celebrate creativity and the passion for design and outdoor living.

Thank you to everyone who came to experience our terrace in Barcelona dancing with dj M.Mat powered by Oblicuo, and refreshing with vermuth Yzaguirre and cerveza Alhambra!

Thank you for participating in the citywide circuit (digital map here):
  • the Cornellà Design Night with Ksar Living and Novara Outdoor Kitchens, and the Artemide Bright Talk at Cubiña with Miquel Luceño (Artemide), José M. Fernández (Estudio Estudio) and Pau Prat (Cubiñá Lighting), in collaboration with Barcelona Beer Company;
  • the conversation at Paxton Barcelona Hotel with Ferran Tortosa, architect and co-foundador of G4:GROUP with the aperitiv offered by Catheau La Dorgonne;
  • the guided tours provided by Pietro Tonini from Tectum Garden, which greatly enriched our overall experience.

We invite you to revisit the highlights of our event! Check out the videos and images that capture the essence of TERRASZA BCN 2024. Experience again the stunning showcases, insightful talks, and vibrant networking moments that took place throughout the week.

Thank you once again for being part of this journey. We look forward to welcoming you at our future events as we continue to promote innovative outdoor design and foster connections and networking.
