TERRASZA is proud to introduce ¡aiguame! by TERRASZA
The new social awareness project promotes an eco-hydration circuit at bars, encouraging customers to refill their own canteens rather than purchasing plastic bottles. It aims to shift consumption habits towards a more sustainable and environmentally respectful approach by reducing PET plastic bottle use and providing access to high-quality filtered or mineral water at various city bars and restaurants.
¡aiguame! by TERRASZA aligns with the 2024 Barcelona Design Week’s theme, "Design for Human Future,"which will celebrate its 19th edition from October 16 to 26, with a focus on water. This project addresses environmental issues while integrating the arts, beginning with the exhibition by artist Xavi Muñoz "Leave Plastics to arts". Future editions will feature additional artists to raise awareness about plastic pollution.
The primary goal of the project is to promote sustainable practices by reducing single-use plastics, benefiting both the environment and public health. With rising microplastic contamination, cutting down on plastic use is crucial for safeguarding our health and ecosystems.
¡aiguame! by TERRASZA: Refillable Canteens
Residents and visitors can refill their canteens at participating locations, marked with specific signs, or purchase a canteen featuring the ¡Aiguame! by TERRASZA logo. These venues will offer high-quality filtered or mineral water, making it easier to forgo disposable plastic bottles.

Expected Impact
Reduction in Plastic Waste: Lowering PET bottle consumption will decrease plastic waste in the city.
Increased Awareness: The blend of art and sustainability in Xavi Muñoz's exhibition will inspire more responsible practices.
Enhanced Convenience: Access to filtered water at numerous locations will support a transition to a healthier, more sustainable lifestyle.
